1. Quotes and project scope
Work begins after a written quote is accepted. The quote defines deliverables, included revisions, timing, and the agreed full project price. Work outside that scope requires written agreement and may cost extra.
2. Booking deposit and domain
The €300 booking deposit reserves time and allows work to begin. Domain prices vary by name, extension and duration. We check availability and confirm the domain price with the client before any domain payment or registration. The deposit and any separately agreed domain charge are separate from the agreed full project price. The deposit is non-refundable once paid, and a domain charge is non-refundable once the domain is registered, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. Domain availability and registration are subject to the registrar’s rules; if a chosen domain cannot be registered, VidWeb will offer an alternative or refund any domain charge already collected for it.
3. Milestone payments
The client pays 33% of the agreed full project price after approving the visual design, and the remaining 67% after development is complete and before launch, as set out in the final quote. Instalments are rounded to cents, with the final payment collecting the exact remaining balance.
4. Approvals and revisions
Approval through the private client link is recorded with a date and time. Approval confirms acceptance of that stage. Later changes may be quoted separately. Change requests must be clear and remain within the agreed revision allowance.
5. Client materials and delays
The client supplies accurate text, images, access details, and feedback. Delivery dates may move when materials, access, feedback, or payment are delayed.
6. Ownership and third-party costs
Ownership of the final custom work transfers after full payment. VidWeb may retain reusable tools and know-how. Hosting, premium fonts, licensed media, and other third-party services are separate unless the quote says otherwise.
7. Cancellation and liability
If the client cancels, completed work and due milestones remain payable. VidWeb is not responsible for indirect loss, third-party outages, or client-supplied content. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected project where permitted by law.
